It's one thing to put your book in multiple categories on KDP Amazon, but in order to hit the ranks you want, and maybe even get a coveted #1 Best Seller orange badge, you need to actually SELL books AND have them in the most ideal categories!
ONE YEAR later my debut autoimmune book has not fallen out of the top 10 in Lupus, and is regularly back in the #1 and #2 Best Seller spots in the Lupus category regularly because I keep up with the things I talk about in this course. (Amazon rankings change HOURLY.) It was also back into the #1 Best Seller position in the Rheumatism category in late June (3.5 months after publishing). I was unable to rely on doing the "usual" Amazon ads that authors use because of the type of book mine is (it's about wellness, and Amazon declined my ad) so I immediately turned to my tried and true marketing skills from my business degree and 2 decades of being an entrepreneur.
